Nashville

Okay. On our day off, Jacki and I headed for Nashville. It's always an adventure getting somewhere when it's her and me. Well, no gear shift problems. But, there were a lot of missed exits and scary moments. We finally did get to Nashville. We walked down Broadway and visited the shops and stuff. It was pretty hot outside. We visited the Gruhn Guitar Center. We also visited The Hatch Print Shop --a single-letter printing press from like the 1800's, if I recall correctly. They make old time posters for new artists and events. It's really cool. I should have bought one, but I wouldn't have anywhere to put it up.
We also stopped at one place and saw a lot of clothing that reminded me of Elissa...one tank top read, "I've got a lot of honky tonk in my badonka donk."
We ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was sooo nice inside. I was WAY underdressed and feeling nasty from walking all over town in the hot sun. I ate a 4 course meal for $10 in a fancy restaurant in Nashville!
We also made it down to the new Grand Ole Opry. It was closed. Then, we walked around the mall and visited the Gibson Guitar Center. Very cool. All in all, it was a very long walk. We slept well.
