The Sanctuary
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope at your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God  and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:4 (CHS)

Can I just say that God is awesome! I'll tell you a funny story...

So, Jacki is allergic to cats and dogs. The place we're staying has cats and a dog and carpet. So, Jacki was going to take some medicine -which by the way is HUGE, because she only uses natural medicines. Well, when we got to the house, I noticed that my eyes were burning and my nose was clogging up. Apparently, I am allergic to something in the house. I know it's not the dog, because I own a long-haired dog. I think it may be the cats or something. Anyway, we both decided to go to Wal-Mart to pick up some meds. We got some non-drowsy Claritin D. We asked the lady at the pharmacy counter if it was going to keep us up at night. She told us it wouldn't. So, we bought it. We left Wal-Mart and headed over to Jason's Deli for dinner. We both took our medicine after our meal and headed back to the house. Well, the stuff worked great! We both were feeling a lot better after taking the medicine.

Then, we went to bed around 10 or 11. We fell asleep, and were both wide awake by 12:30am! After that, I woke up about every hour, tossing and turning, waiting for 7am to roll around.

I am not a morning person, but today was so easy getting up! Can't imagine why! We had breakfast and went out to the car. Just as we are about to leave, Jacki turns to me and says, "Okay, so, what if I can't get the car out of park?" I just looked at her and laughed. Well, Jacki's gear shift was stuck. We prayed over it and then tried again. Still nothing. Then I yelled at Satan to get out in the name of Jesus...that was fun! After that, Jacki got it, and we were on our way! Praise the Lord!

At the studio, we got a lot accomplished. First, I am SO grateful that I am working with someone who loves the Lord, and puts him first. I was thinking in my head that we should pray before we got started, but before I could say anything, he suggested that we get started with prayer. AWESOME! I layed down 8 of the 10 guitar tracks for the album! So, we are making tremendous progress! We also tested all six of the cool microphones to see which one was best for my voice.
