The Sanctuary
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope at your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God  and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:4 (CHS)

Well, I'm here in Tennesse! It's already been an adventure to say the least. I've already gotten frustrated, got stuck in construction traffic, dumped pulled pork all over the place, leaned over into my barbeque sauce, got stared at by old men, used a very shady bathroom, and argued with my mom. I am still determined and excited about this though! Satan can just take a hike!

A praise...God really had mercy on me as I was driving about 90 past a police car. In the mountains, it's difficult to maintain a contstant speed. I was not paying enough attention. Fortunately, the police car didn't come after us!

A prayer request...don't know how I'm getting home. I talked to my mom this evening, and was told that my parents wouldn't be coming to TX when they originally planned. So, I may have to stay an extra week. Although an extra week of vacation wouldn't be totally bad, I hadn't planned on spending a whole month away from home. Responsibilities in Charleston are still a priority, as is finding a job.

I will be recording tomorrow! I'm excited! Can't wait to see how God is going to use this project! Ohh...another praise...I talked with the guy who is doing the recording (Scott) and he said that God is already at work. He ran into a guy at church yesterday who is a producer. Scott told him about me and what we were about to do, and the guy is letting him borrow some really awesome equipment: like big$$$ microphones! So, I'm excited about getting started!

Miss everyone already!

Do it all in the name and the glory of the Lord and you will be amazed at His work. I guess God already has something in store for you to need to stay an extra week. Talk to you soon. Keep on praisin'!

Hey Scott! Thank you for the prayers and scripture! I am so excited about this! Every stumbling block that I've encountered so far has been worked out by the Father! And each hurdle crossed is a victory over my enemies! Yes! God will finish all things! I just recorded a song today that was inspired by 1 Thess. "The one who calls you is faithful. He will do it" (Mary Version)

Hey Mary!Wow, you did a great job sunday night. I'll be so lucky someday to say,"I sang 'ooooos' for that beautiful voice back before she was famous!" I know that is not your objective, but we did say you should have been going to American Idol!
You are in our prayers and let us know if you need some help in Nashville. I was born there-great city! We have friends and family there and David will actually be flying out of there on monday when I go see family, so we'll be close by if you need us next week! You and Jacki take care of each other! Tell MouseMan HI. Love you!
